Our bespoke built 2cEv is the closest you are able to get to a brand new Citroen 2cv. With more than 30 years since the end of production brings this much loved classic into the 21st century with Electric Power replacing the internal combustion engine.
The 2cv is now more environmentally friendly than ever before!
Built on a brand new galvanised Citroen chassis, with a brand new Cataphorese dipped bodyshell and brand new panels it is as good as it gets. Any old parts we use will be fully reconditioned.
As all of our 2cEv’s are bespoke and built to order, when it comes to the look and feel of your 2cEv, you can make it your very own.

Your bespoke built 2cEv
Before any work can commence, we spend time discussing your personal requirements with you. There are not many cars that allow you to have so much of a say in what you want the specification to be before it is built for you. You can visit it at any point during the build process and we take photographs which we can email to you.
Pick a colour, ANY colour
To start with you’ll need to choose the colour for your 2cEv. Most customers choose an original Citroen 2cv colour but you can have any colour you can think of.
Choose your upholstery
There are around 32 choices of colours and fabrics and there are also a selection of different coloured door cards and head linings.
The devil is in the detail
There are a number of other choices to make as well such as the colour of the hood (26 to choose from), grille style, steering wheel, rear parcel shelf, type of gear knob & colour of wheels and bumpers. There is also a list of optional extras that you can choose from (See list below).
Building Your 2cEv
The birth of your 2cEv
Once we know your full requirements we start with a donor 2cv so do not worry if you do not own a 2cv as we can supply one for a small cost from our stock.
We completely strip it down to the last nut and bolt and a majority of the parts will go off for Recycling.
The parts we do reuse are completely reconditioned.
We build up a rolling chassis on a galvanised Citroen Chassis (which has a life time guarantee) with the majority of the parts being new such as the brake system.
Then we fit the reconditioned gearbox with the electric motor attached to the gearbox.
In the meantime the new bodyshell and panels go through our paint shop where we seam seal, underseal, prime and paint it to the colour of your choice. We also do a fill cavity wax injection.
The important thing I should mention is, before we take delivery of the bodyshells and panels, they are Cataphorese dipped (Electrophoretic Coated). This process is the same as most modern cars go though to prevent rust.
Once all that is done we introduce the bodyshell to the chassis, then we begin to assemble your 2cEv by installing your interior and the rest of the Electric vehicle components. We bolt the battery pack into the boot and fit the panels and hood. Once we have bought your 2cEv to life, we thoroughly test all systems then we MOT and road test your 2cEv before it is ready for the handover.
You can either collect it from our premises or we can deliver it to your door. On delivery or collection we will talk you through all the features of your new 2cEv.
It takes approximately 390 hours to assemble your 2cEv.
2cEv Guarantee
All of our bespoke 2cEv’s come with a 3 year battery guarantee, 2 year guarantee on the rest of the EV components and 1 year guarantee on the remaining parts.

The Price of our bespoke 2cEv £48,995.00 plus options.
including VAT (If you are VAT registered you will be able to claim back the VAT on our bespoke 2cEv).
I’m not looking to spend that much!
For those of you who are not looking to spend that much on a ‘brand-new’ 2cEv, you can always choose to have one of our restored 2cEv’s prices start at £29000. (click here to see our restored 2cv’s) Just add the price of the restored 2cv and the price of our EV conversion kit installed price, together. Anyone of our restored 2cv’s will be a perfect candidate for conversion.
Payment
A £1000 deposit is required to reserve a build slot for your bespoke 2cEv. You can pay the deposit by card (credit or debit card), bank transfer or cash.
Once we have started work on your bespoke 2cEv a further payment of £10,000 is required.
The final payment is due on the day of the handover.
The second and last payment you can pay by debit card, bank transfer or cash. Sorry but we cannot accept credit card as the fees are too high.
